Unfortunately Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Homes have been placed into Tier 4 so will not be able to begin rehoming again until restrictions are eased.
We thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times 🐾
Owning a dog can be a very rewarding experience and owning a rescue dog can be even more rewarding as you watch them come out of themselves and begin to explore and learn about you and your family.
Where do you want to Adopt a Dog from?
Changing Times Means Changing Procedures
Our adoption procedures have now changed to better reflect the current challenges we face with COVID 19
All dogs available for adoption are now available to view on the website, please read through their information carefully and if you think you would be able to meet their needs, get in touch with the home directly.
Sadly, the majority of the dogs in our care have at some point been strays, and for whatever reason, have not been claimed by their owners. Due to this we may not know the full background of the dog you are interested in, but we will of course tell you as much as we can.
To adopt a dog from either Manchester or Cheshire Dogs Home, you will need to pass a home visit and have AT LEAST one successful meet and greet, although most will require more trips.
Everyone who lives in your home will need to visit the dog, as well as any very regular visitors.
If you have a resident dog in your home they will also need to meet with the dog, however please note that currently we are unable to adopt to homes with resident dogs due to not being able to safely carry out dog meetings whilst social distancing, we hope to continue this as soon as it is safe to do so.
To adopt one of the dogs we will need to see proof of ID as well as proof of address and that you can have a dog in the property, ie tenancy agreement, proof of ownership etc.
Our adoption fee includes –
A full health check
4 week FREE Pet Plan insurance
