Our Community

Here at our dogs home we understand the importance of giving back to the community, we are looking at 2016 meet and greets for schools, old peoples homes and also local events.

"Bringing people together through their love of dogs"

“Bringing people and dogs together”

We can cover the whole of the North West so if you would like to invite us and a few of our best behaved doggies, down to talk to an audience about the work we do at the charity and why it is so important to treat animals with love & respect, then contact us today and we will review your proposal and put together something catered to your needs.

As we are a small charity, we may not be able to attend every event or invitation that we receive no matter how much we would like too.

We also work with a local college to provide extra enrichment to students studying a Level 3 Animal Management course and have many visits from businesses and schools alike.

Quote from Nina Daly Land Based Team Leader, Pro Co North West Ltd

“The Level 3 Animal Management students  really enjoyed visiting Cheshire Dogs Home, this provided them with a insight into the day running of a dog Home, the job roles involved, dog welfare, behaviour, handling  and legislation. The Manager of the home Anna Stansfield and her team where happy to talk to the students inspiring them for the  future.  Cheshire Dogs has also kindly offered placements to some of our students”

“A big thank you to Cheshire Dogs Home”

Quote from Sue Huzar Student Experience Officer, School of Physics & Astronomy of the University of Manchester

I just wanted to thank you and your colleagues and doggies for visiting the School of Physics & Astronomy last Wednesday to provide some relaxation and “down time” for our students ahead of their forthcoming exams.  The event was a huge success and the student feedback has been very positive and enthusiastic and all agreed it helped them to de-stress. Yourself and your colleagues made the visit interesting with your talks to the students on the day to day running of the dogs home and also on the individual background of the dogs.
