NEUTERING

We offer a reduced fee neutering service to all people that have adopted a dog from us.

The service is of the highest standard and utilises similar equipment and technique that your own veterinary surgeon would use.

We advise that all dogs are neutered, not only to reduce the number of unwanted and stray dogs but also to ensure that your dog lives a long and healthy life.

Un-neutered male and female dogs are prone to various life threatening conditions that could have been avoided if they had been neutered.

MICROCHIPPING

All of our dogs are microchipped prior to being adopted.

We do offer a reduced fee chipping service to anyone that would like to take advantage of it.

Something as simple as a microchip can help to ensure that you and your dog are re-united should he become lost or stolen.

A microchip is a non-removable chip, about the size of a grain of rice. It is inserted under your dogs skin and is read by a special scanner. The scanner will detect the encoded barcode and then all it takes is 1 phone call to the main data base to find out where the lost dog belongs.

If you would like to have your dog microchipped at the reduced rate of £10.00 then please visit the Home during our opening times of 1pm - 5pm Monday - Saturday or 1pm - 4pm on Sundays.
