Hi, I’m Chance. I’m a eight month old cross staffy with a very sad story to tell you. I arrived at the Dogs’ Home in November last year with a badly injured leg. The nice staff here at the Dogs’ Home have made it better now though; they gave me lots of rest and lots of love and as you can see from me jumping around in my kennel its all better now! When people walk past my kennel I can get very giddy and jump around quite a bit ... I think that’s why I’m still here. But if you ask one of the staff to get me and and you’ll see how affectionate I really am. Because I’ve been in the Home for a while now, I will need patient owners that have the time to train me. I need basic training such as walking nicely on the lead and house training. I do get on well with other dogs and I might benefit from living with another dog that can teach me how to behave in a loving home environment. Puppy training classes might be a fun thing for me and my new owners to try together, so that we can learn new things together and I get to make lots of new friends with the other dogs there. I REALLY like treats so training should be fairly easy but it will still take time. I think I’ll be best living with a family that has trained dogs before and where there aren’t any young children around as I need someone that understands about my leg and has that extra bit of time that I need. Please ask one of the staff about me and they’ll tell you what a lovely chap I am away from the noise and stress of the kennels. I’ve had a tough time of life so far ... are you the family to change all that?

Please give me a chance. Lots of Woof, Chance
