Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Age: 8 Years
CDH Number: C28
Bruce is a lovable boy with bags of character. He has a lot of energy which he likes to burn off chasing after his toys. His ideal home would be an active one, with people home lots as he gets bored easily, lots of mental and physical stimulation in his new home will help to keep his mind busy and stop him getting up to mischief. His love of toys does mean that he doesn’t always want to give them back, although he is often happy to trade for something better, he would benefit from reward based training to help him learn that letting people take his toys is a good thing and doesn’t mean that he won’t get them back.
He has been on many walks with other dogs here at the dog’s home and whilst he is happy walking if they respect his space he isn’t too keen on them being in his personal bubble and will give them a little grumble to tell them to leave him alone. Due to this he would prefer a home as an only dog where he can relax without being bothered by other dogs.
As he was originally a stray we do not know if he has ever lived with children, he may be able to live with older, sensible children following a successful meet and greet.
